Anyone Still There?

Knock, knock. Anyone still there? Helloooooo.... Guess who is back...:-).

Spring is in the air and Mediumgeek has seen the first green leaves. The first pain of spring (sore bum after riding a bike) has started to fade away, and I have already been harassed by drunk/drugged idiots once while biking. Doesn't get more like spring in Oslo than that.

My month off blogging was quite nice and could even been considered eventful. I took a week vacation up in north of Norway, involving (believe it or not) lots of sun, long walking trips, a fishing trip, reading, eating nice food, and relaxing. This time I even managed to catch two fish of proper size!

Work has been busy (more about that soon) and I got to see the Opera Gothenburg office for the first time. I have even delivered my tax return already and said enough mean things about the Norwegian tax system to give the entire staff of the Norwegian tax office a constant hickup for a year (Icelandic superstition says that if you say mean things about people behind their backs they will get the hickups).

Then I have just generally been busy with smaller stuff but I did manage to rest my brain a little with some trashy literature and relaxing. So you average mediumgeek is much healthier and happier and ready to enjoy spring to its fullest. Stay tuned because I am ready to spit out some of the usual nonsense on my blog.

Happy Spring and Welcome Back...

I thought it may be a month already. So I took a quick look and there you are. Hope everything looks brighter and fresher after winter let go. Here in Louisville we are looking forward to the Kentucky Derby next Saturday. It is always the official start of Spring/Summer. Now it is frost-safe to plant flowers and tomatoes etc. I have been hiking and fishing and generally enjoying the outdoors. Good for the soul.
Can't wait to see what you have in store for the blog.

Spring is great

Hello John,

Yes, spring is great and being outside in springtime is even greater. Wish I had a garden so that I could plant something other than few little balcony plants! Went for a long walk today but unfortunately it was raining:-(. Oh well can't really complain since the weather forecast says it is supposed to be around 20 degrees Celcius next week.

No major plans for the blogs:-). Just the same old silly blog entries, venting about religious issues that annoy and whatever fancies me at that moment. Hope you find something that interests you inbetween!

Yay!!

She's back!!!

I get used to looking just in case, and then remembering that you were on holiday just as I started to get disappointed that there was nothing again.

And now, just when I finally realised that I just have to be patient, Mediumgeek's back. :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-)

:-)

Awww you sweet people!

It is good to see that I at least have few readers left despite the fact that I went on a long blogging vacation:-). It is good to be back!

Eirik, north of Norway is huge... or wait, my real excuse is that I am waiting so that I can meet your hairy friend too;-).

At last!

mediumgeek

I am an Icelandic mediumgeek who lives in Oslo, Norway. I work at Opera Software making user interfaces for mobile browsers. I like reading and traveling most of all but there are many other things I like sticking my nose into. I have secret liking for getting upset about religious and political matters. Those are topics you are likely to find some entries about on my blog in between other things that happen to interest me then and there. Please note that the opinions here are my own and have nothing to do with my employer, family, or friends.
