The day after exercising...

We have all heard that exercising is supposed to be good for you. It is supposed to make you fitter, slimmer, healthier, more flexible etc. A doctor will almost always ask you if you exercise and stress the importance of it.

If you look at online medical advices for anything to do with fatigue, depression, or sleeping problems they always tell you to exercise. It is supposed to make you feel better, need less sleep, and be less tired.

I think this is the biggest bullshit lie ever! Exercising just eats up your time (while doing the exercise), and then you are dead exhausted afterward and have to go to bed early because you are so tired. The day after you are aching all over and feel miserable. You probably have to go to bed early that day too because you are so exhausted from the day before. Worst case scenario this will last for few more days and by that time next
exercise is long overdue. If you exercise properly three times a week (which is usually what is recommened by doctors) you are basically tired and aching all the time. Now how is that making me feel more awake and need less sleep?

Thankfully there are few exercises that are actually fun. The latest addition to my life is kayaking. It is absolutely great while you are doing it but my body isn't quite as thrilled as my mind:-).

LOL! Now that was a good comparison!

Bah! Yes, yes, everyone says that exercise is good for you, didn't need people to remind me of that;-).

*blushing* Thanks:-). I am a geek believe me!

OK...

Your geek factor is clearly cancelled out by your cuteness factor.
I think you'll have to change your name.

exercise

Sounds like you are pushing too hard. Start slowly and increase the amount of exercise slowly. That way you avoid aches and injuries.

Exercising is good for you!

be very very careful...

Exercise is clearly bad for you. Like hangovers, your body tells you in no uncertain terms that there is something seriously wrong.

Fortunately, like the night before the hangover, your body seems to adapt to it quite well after a little while, and you find it surprisingly easy to do more of it.

Even more fortunately, in most fun cases it also works out cheaper. Best of all, you don't keep having hangovers that can only be cured by more exercise :)

But a lot of people have become addicted. Some claim they can stop any time and only do it for the fun. Even more of them just admit that they really do want more...

So be careful...
