A Group of Margaritas/Devils

I suggested earlier this summer to some friends that we should start a bookclub. Last Thursday we held our first meeting at my place. The first book we discussed was The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov.

The Master and Margarita is a controversial Russian masterpiece, which had enough sharp edge to not be published until three decades after it was written. Even then only in a censored version.

The main character is Satan, which comes to Moscow and wreaks havoc among the literary clique. Since we only read the first half of the book this time I wont comment any further on the book until after next meeting.

The meeting was as expected lively with a really good discussion about the book, and the other usual discussions girls tend to dvelve into when they get together;-).
